The sharks are now in the thick of playoff games. To all those who are interested they are in round 1 of the playoffs. This consists of best out of 7 games against the St. Louis Blues (EW). We are now on game 4, this Thursday April 19. Of the 3 games that have been played, the Blues have won 2 and the Sharks 1. Even though we lost the last game, I am happy to see people all around campus wearing their SJSharks shirts, jerseys, hats, etc.

I really want to win. I really hate the Blues, but not as much as I truly despise the Red Wings. Ill keep you all updated with the playoffs.

Summer is approaching. More importantly finals are approaching. Most importantly financial aid/registration deadlines are approaching. This is made obvious by the constant line that seems to be here at the Students First Center. This is not helped by the endless parents/families/prospective students who come into the SFC to ask questions.

If you need to come in, early afternoon is usually slow.

Graduation Invite Fail.

A huge disaster happen this past week. I decided to be a pro and make my own graduation invites. I worked very hard on them and I thought they looked FANTASTIC. Here is where the fail happen. After hand writing everyones name on each invite, after handwriting all the addresses on each envelope, after putting a stamp and sealing each envelope, after sending each envelope in the mail, after hearing from a few people that they finally got the invite .. I PUT THE WRONG DATE. Whoops.

This made me laugh.

Veronica, this is so awesome! I did the same thing on Saturday and it was a blast. We made enchiladas! What did you guys make? Merced families make everything fantastic while here :)

My friends and I made a huge dinner last night since all of us were still in Merced for the holiday. I love doing things like that with my Merced family! We all look out for each other, help each other with classes, work together on projects, cook meals together, and have a BLAST! Do you all have a Merced family?

Just a reminder to all the students out there, now that spring break is up, school will quickly come to a close. Make sure you are ontop of all of your classes and working as hard as you can. Before you know it finals week will be here and a few short days later, SUMMER!
